[emergency has passed]: Global Chat issues
Currently the global Help channel is experiencing some bugs that we're trying to fix. This may require multiple restarts of the game servers, though we're hoping not. Obviously if this comes up we can't tell you in-game because global broadcasting is messed up, so if you see the servers going down, it doesn't mean they're down for good just that we needed to deploy some code to try to fix the issue.

a sort of message banner at the top of the web page for when this happens, o that everyone is aware of what's happening while the servers are down, not jut people who check the forums. - Yeah, we need better solutions for this kind of thing, but at the time this was all we had. We're doing an overhaul of a bunch of different chat/messaging stuff so I'll make sure this gets mentioned.
