[not a bug] Not picking up quoins

My character will no longer pick up flying quoins in the course of exploring.

You all probably hit your daily limit of quoins.

There's a daily limit to how many you can collect. Once the new day comes around, you'll be able to get more :) You should have gotten a notice when you reached your limit, but if it seems like this is a chronic source of confusion for players we'll look into a clearer indicator like the zen debuff for meditation.
