Error #2048

Cleared cache, not running any antivirus software that would cause issues. Was able to get in on previous tests.

On the front page, I've had a green light on the game status, yet a warning that it can't connect to game servers for a couple hours. Haven't been able to get into the game (reload msg) since. Not worried about it since I got busy elsewhere.

We're looking into the source of these problems but don't have a resolution quite yet. Thanks for your patience, sorry guys.

I had the same issue Tingly is explaining.
The game froze after I finished the Mr. Hairball quest. Reloading left me with an angry looking licorice stick telling me it can't connect to the server. Green game status, though.
Switching browsers (from ff 3.6.3 to safari 4.1 on an older Mac OS X 10.4.11) didn't help.
Eating black licorice wheels in RL didn't either - maybe the shape wasn't right.
