[confirmed] "Fancy Pick" not recognized as a real pick

Because the Regular Pick's description said that it "wouldn't last forever" (ie. it would break down), I purchased a "Fancy Pick". Unfortunately, when I tried to mine, the ability to mine was disabled and threw me an error that I needed a pick. If the fancy is strictly for looks / not use, it'd be awesome to see that more explicitly in the description. :D

  • That's a bug :) The fancy pick is supposed to be a real pick that you can mine with.

  • I did the same thing - I went back and checked the skills, and you need mining skill level 2 before you can use the fancy pick.

  • You can't use the fancy pick until mining II as Darque said, and I've filed a bug to make this requirement a little more clear. You shouldn't feel ambushed by this sort of thing, obviously, so we'll look at ways to solve that.
